Welcome to Mures Lower Deck, Hobart’s family-friendly seafood bistro, cafe & fishmongers!

Our journey starts at sea, where we catch our fish on the line and carefully look after it all the way to your plate. As a proud third-generation Tasmanian family business, you’ll often find a Mure working most days, happy to share their seafood knowledge and help you with whatever you’re after.

Bookings for Lower Deck are available but subject to seasonal restrictions - contact us here.

Bistro Menu

Our menu is packed with delicious options, from classic Fish & Chips straight from our boat, to Tassie scallops, squid, prawns, grills, share platters, chowder, and even pizza! Love oysters? Try our freshly shucked Tasmanian Pacific oysters natural or kilpatrick. And for those who prefer something different, we’ve got tasty non-seafood options too.

Cafe

Craving something sweet? Mures famously serves up 36+ flavors of ice cream, perfect for a treat after your meal or a stroll along the docks. Also available are teas, coffees, iced drinks, milkshakes, cakes and sundaes.
