Mures first restaurant in state to achieve MSC and ASC chain of custody certification

Mures Tasmania has become the second restaurant in Australia to be recognised with Marine Stewardship Council and Aquaculture Stewardship Council chain of custody certification, and the first in Tasmania.

MSC applies a blue fish tick label to wild fish or seafood products from certified sustainable fisheries and ASC is an independent, international non-profit organisation which manages certification and labelling programs for responsible aquaculture.

This is a huge achievement for the business and will allow Mures customers to make informed choices about choosing sustainable seafood.
